Unified inbox

One social media inbox for your comments and DMs

OutReply brings a brand's conversations into one workspace: unanswered Instagram and Facebook comments in a review queue, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messages in one chat list, and comments on X and YouTube posts in the post feed.

Each one can get an AI-drafted reply in your brand voice that you approve, edit or skip.

  • AI drafts for comments and DMs
  • WhatsApp's 24-hour window handled
  • Mood and topics for each conversation
  • Separate access for comments and DMs

What lands in the inbox

Real-time channels deliver new comments and messages as they happen. Comments on the other networks load when you open a post in OutReply.

From new message to sent reply

  1. A conversation arrives

New Facebook and Instagram comments and DMs and WhatsApp messages reach OutReply as they happen. Comments on X and YouTube load when you open a post.

  2. OutReply drafts a reply

Generate a draft in one click, or draft replies for a whole batch of unanswered Instagram and Facebook comments at once. Drafts use your brand rules and the post's context.

  3. You approve, edit or skip

Post the draft as it is, tweak it, ask for a rewrite with an instruction, or dismiss the comment so it leaves the queue.

  4. Workflows take the repeats

Questions you answer the same way every day can be handled by a real-time workflow, leaving the inbox for conversations that need you.

DMs with context

The chat view shows the whole conversation with each person. For one credit, an AI sidekick reads it and reports the customer's mood, the key topics, a short summary and a recommended approach, and for another credit it suggests several replies to choose from. Saved quick replies cover the answers you give every day.

Messaging rules are handled for you. WhatsApp allows free-form replies only within 24 hours of the customer's last message; after that, OutReply shows a notice and lets you send an approved template message instead (WhatsApp fees may apply). On Facebook Messenger, OutReply uses Meta's human agent tag so you can still reply up to seven days after the customer's last message.

Shared by the team

Access is split by channel: the Messaging permission covers DMs and the Feed permission covers comments, so a community manager can answer comments without seeing private conversations. Everyone drafts with the same brand rules, and repetitive questions can be answered by workflows before they reach the queue. More on roles in team collaboration.

How it compares

Most social suites have an inbox. The difference is where AI reply help starts: on every OutReply plan, including Free.
